Board & Batten
Strong vertical rhythm that makes a house read as taller. Often used on a gable or a single section to break up long horizontal runs.
Vertical boards with raised battens, at the batten spacings the product line offers.
Where it is used
Main Wall
The largest continuous wall surfaces. What the house reads as from the street.
Gable
The triangular wall under the roof peak. Often given a different material from the wall below it.
Accent
A smaller area treated differently on purpose — a dormer, an entry, a band across one section.
